Spear were formed by frontman Kirk Brandon from the ashes of his previous band Theatre Of Hate. The band soon signed to CBS records and released the seminal album The Grapes Of Wrath in 1983. Live At The Hacienda features the band at the height of their powers, playing a full live set at Manchester's world famous Hacienda club in 1983. Amongst the tracks featured are the band's first single The Flying Scotsman and UK chart hit The Wheel . Bonus footage features a fascinating, recently filmed interview with Kirk Brandon, discussing his entire career, and a photo gallery featuring a collection of images of the band from their early days.
