The explanation of what a ‘cleaner’ does is priceless. It sets the tone for the whole movie.

I also love the twisted ‘morality’ depicted by most of the characters. The only ‘honest cop’ was a murderer.

I’m also glad the daughter lived. It was a relief that she did not ‘drop the gun’ and then cry - I’ve seen that way too many times in other movies.

The Calendar Girls include some cutish British humor. It’s a sweet story that even guys could ’stomach’. Go see the movie, it’s a small price to keep ‘the little woman’ happy.
